Coming May 4! Generated Patient Summaries - free access for existing customers

Starting May 4, 2026, we will enable Generated Patient Summaries (GPS) for every existing Zus customer. GPS helps clinicians get up to speed on a patient faster by distilling the most important information from the health record into a concise, cited summary. It is designed for the pre-visit and clinical review moment, when teams need the patient story quickly without hunting through scattered records.

What’s changing

GPS will be available to all existing customers at no additional cost with included monthly usage, making it easier for clinical teams to start using summaries in existing chart prep and review workflows.

• GPS surfaces the most relevant patient context in one place so clinicians can prepare faster and spend less time digging through records.
• Every summary is grounded in source documentation, giving clinicians a faster path to context without losing transparency.
• GPS is especially useful before a visit or clinical review, when care teams need a quick, trustworthy way to understand the patient’s story.

How to access

Users can generate a summary from the patient overview page in the ZAP.
