September 1, 2026: Diagnostic Reports now available in ZAP Search

ZAP Search now includes lab and imaging results. Search for a specific result, such as an A1c or a metabolic panel, and open it directly from the search bar, from anywhere in the patient's chart.

What's new

Previously, ZAP Search returned matches from documents and clinical notes, but searching for a lab or imaging result wouldn't surface the result itself. Now, Diagnostic Reports are included in ZAP Search: type what you're looking for and matching diagnostic results appear alongside documents and other clinical content, each opening its full detail in one click. That means you can go straight to the specific result you need in seconds.

Improved Performance

We've also made the Diagnostics page load faster by showing results in pages, so charts with a large number of diagnostic reports open quickly. You can choose how many results appear per page, and the ZAP remembers your choice so you only set it once.
