July 31, 2026: Manage app clients directly in the Zus app

You can now create and manage your own app clients directly in the Zus App. App client management is available today under Admin Settings → Developers for any user with the Builder Admin role.

What's new

Previously, creating or changing an app client meant sending a request to your account manager or using the API. Now you can do it yourself in the Zus App: view your existing app clients, create new ones, edit a client's name and role, and delete the ones you no longer need.

Need to rotate your credentials?

There's no separate secret-rotation step. To replace a client's credentials, create a new app client, point your integration at it, and delete the old one once you've confirmed the switch. You can run more than one app client at once, so there's no downtime.

Not sure whether an app client is still in use? The Developers page now shows when each client was last used (for activity from July 14, 2026 onward), so you can confirm a client is safe to delete before you remove it.
