Subscribing Patients

Zus allows for the enrolling of patients into subscriptions to automatically keep customers up to date with the latest information on their patients.

The flow for subscribing patients is as follows:

• Subscribe your patient to the appropriate Zus package as described here. Our ZAP Subscriptions will do the heavy lifting of searching our networks for patient matches, pulling documents from responding organizations and translating them to FHIR resources for you, as well as intelligently refreshing them to keep you updated with the freshest data.

Be sure to pass the Patient id from the previous response when creating the patient in the payload body {{ZusPID}}!

• When subscribing patients the CPR (Common Patient Record) functionality comes into effect if other Zus customers are also treating the same patient, allowing you to view their data instantly.
• The seeding of your patient data takes on the order of seconds to minutes. While you're waiting for data to populate you can always check the status of your subscription by executing the job status request as described here.
